The neon trend that was so popular in the 90s seems to have made a huge comeback within the last few years. Even if you’re not a fan of bright shades, designers will make sure that you see them everywhere.
The fashion world noticed a massive invasion in 2018 when many of the spring/summer collections for 2019 demonstrated a neon supremacy. Some of the names that included neon pieces on the runway were Jeremy Scott, House of Holland, Emporio Armani, Emilia Wickstead, Prabal Gurung and Tibi.
Fashionistas all over the world embraced the trend and we saw fluorescent clothes and accessories in green, orange, pink and yellow literally everywhere during the spring-summer season. Neon snake prints, neon organza, neon patent leather were also huge… and they still are.

As awards season 2020 commenced, we saw another neon wave on the red carpet. Kristen Bell wore a bright green Cong Tri jumpsuit, Charlize Theron picked a neon Dior dress, Zoey Deutch chose a yellow Fendi Couture creation with dramatic sleeves, Pryanka Chopra showed us a pink sleeveless gown by Cristina Ottaviano. We also have to mention Billie Eilish’s neon green hair and the hot pink Versace leather suit worn by Lil Nas X at the Grammys.
